Fantasy of Flight is an aviation-themed museum in Lakeland, Florida area. The museum contains a large collection of vintage and modern aircraft, as well as interactive exhibits. Visitors can also take part in flight simulators and other hands-on activities. Fantasy of Flight was founded in 1995 by entrepreneur Kermit Weeks. The museum was opened to display his collection that was housed at the Weeks Air Museum until the hurricane in 1992 destroyed the building.

The museum is located on a 70-acre site adjacent to the Lakeland Linder International Airport. The facility includes two hangars, a restoration hangar, a theater, and a gift shop. Fantasy of Flight is open 365 days a year and offers daily tours and flight demonstrations. Many of the exhibited aircraft are in good working order, and some have taken off from the museum’s grass runway or its seaplane airstrip.

LEGOLAND Florida Resort

One of the most innovative amusement parks in Florida. The resort opened in 2011 and has a theme park, a water park, a botanical garden, and more than 50 attractions, sideshows, and dining options. There are twelve play zones in the park, including the interactive Imagination Zone and the LEGO MOVIE WORLD, which brings the LEGO movies to life. There are also live performances, family-friendly attractions, and roller coasters.

Visitors can experience a safari through the Sahara where they can see real live animals in realistic settings, the Pandoran world from the film Avatar, riding the rapids of an Asian river, or even a yeti sighting on Mount Everest.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a theme park and active film studio where animation and motion movies are created, is a part of the Walt Disney World Resort close to Orlando. The finest Broadway productions, Hollywood movies, and television shows served as the inspiration for the park’s attractions and rides.  The park has unique experiences such as the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, and The Great Movie Ride.
